About Motorcars International

Motorcars International was founded in 1976 by Walter Wiesboeck to serve the growing German auto market in the Atlanta, Marietta dn Smyrna area. Mr. Wiesboeck will tell you that many of the technical innovations available in professional auto maintenance shops today were first used by Motorcars International, which was then know as Munich West, Inc. Mr. Wiesboeck credits much of their success to the development of "Autowise" a computer-based shop management system.

In 1981, we expanded to Smyrna, Georgia, on the outskirts of North West Atlanta, and became known as Munich West of Smyrna. At that time, we still only serviced cars from Germany and manufactured by Bavarian Motor Works, or BMW.

As the German car market grew in the U.S., so did other European and Asian automakers. It became apparent to Mr. Wiesboeck, along with his associate Mr. Tony Mion that the operation needed to expand to cover maintenance services for other fine automakers, such as Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Acura, Saab, Volvo, and Mini-Cooper and Volkswagen.

Then, in 1992 this dream became a reality, and the name was changed to Motorcars International. We believe the same core concepts of quality service, premium parts and a straightforward honest approach in dealing with customers along with an honest pricing structure given to customers in advance of any work, will continue to serve this great metro Atlanta, GA auto maintenance and repair market.
